Front tire life... how long did yours last?

I've gone through two sets now. First the Bridestone Ecopia OEMs and then Michelins. Both pretty much are dead at the 12k-13k mark. I've seen a few posts of people expecting 12k, and other spark/fiat forums have said about 12-15k too. What is everyone getting?

    Crappy front tires question??

"chirping" will happen even with stickier tires because of the high torque... embrace it. :) What sucks more about the crappy (and they are crappy) front tires is the braking distance. Scary. I replaced with 195's touring A/S. Regret not going stickier. Next time I'm doing 195 summers all around.

What is being offered at end of lease?

My 3-year least on a 2015 Spark EV LT2 is ending in a few months, so I'm wondering this as well. It looks like the amazing deals on EV's I got (and many other got) does not exist anymore. I just did a quote on a 3-year lease for a 2017 Bolt and it was: $342/mo with $3337 due at signing (Nor...

Does charging the car also keep the 12v battery topped off?

Sorry, but this ^ is guess. Does anyone know the answer?

Anyone else impressed by the handling?

The handling is hurt by FWD, soft suspension, and crappy LRR tires. The handling is helped immensely by the small, light package. And the torque is great when pointed straight forward.

    CA HOV sticker placement photos

This is the correct way. If everyone else read the DMV instructions, it specifies that the side sticker should be on the quarter panel (as seen above) which the part of the body of the car from fender to rear door (and in this case to roof). The Spark has a HUGE bumper cover which means the...

    Jack points and tire rotation

Subscribed because I got a leak in my tire.... and because of no jack points (I don't have a 4 point lift in my home) I couldn't pull the wheel off to easily inspect the tire. Instead I had to keep rolling the car, get out, check the tire, repeat until I found the *$&#% bolt jammed into the...

    Aftermarket speakers?

Just a few comments: Impediance is not the same as resistance, although they are related. - you can't measure impediance with an ohm meter, because it's measuring resistance. - you can replace a speaker with a HIGHER impediance speaker without worry about burning out the amp; it just won't...

How do I reboot this car?

In my case, diagnostics try updating and eventually give up. I haven't had a working update since 9/20 and I've tried everyday since.

Rebate for 220v portable charge cable?

very true.... good suggestions everyone I'm trying to figure out which to get... the 16A or the 30A. (although if I go the ebay sell and Clippercreek buy path I realize I should get the 30A). But until I actually sell the unit, I want to use it. I don't mind lugging around the big box if I rig...

    Road Racing, anyone?

This is great/funny! Those BMWs with the skinny tires must have been cornering at an amazing 0.72G's!

Rebate for 220v portable charge cable?

The EV rebate seems to only work for Bosche wall charger. I need a 220v portable charge cable because my work provides 220v electrical sockets. Is there one that also gets the rebate?

Have you had the hood latch recall performed?

I just had mine done this week. Mostly because they kept bugging me and since this is a lease vehicle I thought I needed to make sure to do all the required "maintenance and recalls". At the same time the dealer keeps sending me emails saying, "your car is overdue for service: oil change and...
