    USB Drive capabilities

That would be great - thanks for the follow up - I'll give it a go tomorrow :)

    USB Drive capabilities

I've seen on other Chevy forums folks have gone up to 128gb - so 64gb seems safe - that's what I had in mind if I can get the details worked out

    USB Drive capabilities

Thanks Bryce - I hadn't thought about the random titles to simulate shuffle - that's a good idea. (Although I confess that moving 10,000 songs out of their sub folders into the root directory seems like it might take a while!) I guess I was hoping there was either a) a program that would take...

    USB Drive capabilities

I don't feel particularly lazy, or that I'm over-thinking my situation - but I've been bouncing around forums and manuals for about an hour trying to figure this out- Had been using an old iPod plugged in via USB for music. I leave it on random/shuffle all the time and I can be surprised by any...

I tell people I prefer the term "range awareness"

That's assuming that they actually want to sell them - still a compliance vehicle as far as I'm concerned...

    Aftermarket speakers?

Hey - quick question on this topic. Swapped out my fronts for these http://store.12velectronics.com/mirus-m41-2-4-coaxial-speaker-set/ and they sounded great - much clearer with a bit more on the bottom end. Then I swapped out the rears for some Kicker 4x6" and the balance shifted too far to...

    California Rebate timing? (CVRP)

Update: Just got email confirmation that the check has been mailed - I'm out of town and can't verify - but it appears that the current process takes about 60 days from approval

    California Rebate timing? (CVRP)

Spoke with them on the phone yesterday as our claim had disappeared from their website ("your claim cannot be found"). Seems that their system had been "upgraded" so they couldn't track our rebate specifically, but "hoped it would be going out with the next batch" - whenever that might be.

    California Rebate timing? (CVRP)

Not exactly earth-shattering, but as I'm the guy who keeps hitting "refresh" on the UPS web page every 15 minutes to see if his package status has updated... Anyone know what the wait is these days to receive our check? Mine was approved near the end of January and I'm finding the whole "should...

    RAIN!!

small update - mileage seems to be back to normal (knock on wood) - Would low (for California anyway!) temperatures have contributed in any way to poor performance? I'm thinking a combination of low temps and high winds was what did me in for a few days last week...

    RAIN!!

Yeah - glad to see that those boys worked fine :) Anyone else have their range take a big dump yesterday in the rain? Been doing the same commute for two months now and I also get 4.7m/kwh on the way to work and 5.1 on the way home (or so the car tells me) and I make it home with about 50% left...

    Aftermarket Driver's seat?

Man - absolutely loving this little car! Just about the only thing that kills me (other than a lack of a 240v charger at my rental) is that drivers seat! I realize that it's not an 8-series BMW, but I just cannot get comfortable- Anyone swapped out the seat for something else? Maybe something...

What's the average electricity bill after getting the Spark?

They claim they use the same meter- My father on the other hand spent $100 for a special "time of use" meter - not 100% sure what it does for him. I believe that it ties into his roof solar panels, so that during the day he is selling power back to the grid at a much higher rate than he's being...

What's the average electricity bill after getting the Spark?

I feel like I'm ready this wrong, but looked at SoCal Edison to see how their EV rates stack up - If I do nothing, I'm looking at .13/kwh - 24/7 I I switch to their EV/Home plan I only pay .09 between midnight and 6AM, which sounds good, .12 between 6AM and 10AM, .12 between 6PM and midnight...

Federal Tax Credit regarding leased vehicles

Perfect! That's the answer I was hoping for :) Much appreciated and can't wait to get the new car (very soon!)

Federal Tax Credit regarding leased vehicles

Thanks for the quick response - I guess what I was really getting at had to do with the fed tax credit itself. Does it matter what MY federal tax bill looked in 2013? What if I only paid $5k in taxes last year-would I only get that instead? I realize that if I were purchasing the car myself...

Federal Tax Credit regarding leased vehicles

So - I think this is really obvious, but just want to clarify as I believe we're kind of on the bubble- When purchasing an EV, one has to have paid more than $7500 to take full advantage of the credit - this is the simple part... When leasing an EV, since the credit goes to the leasing company...
