Unable to charge, error code P1EE6

I’m unable to charge either via my level 2 or the 120 volt EVSE. I called OnStar for a diagnostic, and they reported the P1EE6 code. I have an appointment with the dealer next week. Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue, and what I might expect at the dealer? Am I going to have to pay...

    Two battery questions

Hi all, two questions: 1) When I pull into work, the car will say I have consumed 2.7 kWh, I plug into the ChargePoint charger, and it takes 4.4 kWh to recharge. Why the diff? 2) If I use 50% of my battery capacity per the dash, and that represents 5 kWh, does that indicate that my battery...

    OnStar iOS app questions

The OnStar app on iOS has quite a bit of functionality, I love remote start. 1) Is there or might there be a Alexa skill for OnStar? It sure would be handy to voice activate remote start. yeah, I know, how lazy can a person get? I'm thinking there may be safety or security issues that...

    Auto door locks stopped working

Just noticed that my auto door locks stopped working. Looked at the Preferences, seems like they should still be working. Any thoughts on that? Head for the dealer?

    iPhone7s, BringGo GPS, USB charging

I'm noticing recently that when using BringGo (iPhone 7s plus, Apple lightning cable) that the phone is discharging fairly rapidly, like maybe I can navigate for an hour before my phone is dead. In the past, the car was able to keep the phone from discharging. I'm aware that GPS uses a lot of...

    Service in Portland (Oregon) area?

I need to take the Spark in for the recall work. My two closest options are Wentworth and Wilsonville. I've had non-Spark work done at Wentworth and think they're fine, but that's not the same as EV work. Any EV experiences in the Portland area? Also, I have a couple of odd issues with the...

Impression of Bolt at the auto show

The Frau and I attended the Portland International Auto Show this past weekend, mainly to have a good look at the Bolt. There were a few of them there and we spent a fair amount of time with one, sitting in it and doing a close examination. I thought I'd share my impressions for discussion...

    Pandora and iOS

I'm not sure if it's an iOS issue or the new version of Pandora, and, I'm finding that in order to get Pandora to stay running on my Spark, I have to open the app on the phone first, then open the dashboard app. This is recent behaviour. Has anyone else run into this?

National Drive Electric Week Event - Portland Oregon

https://driveelectricweek.org/event.php?eventid=586 OK, it's really in Wilsonville ;) We went last year and it was fun talking to other EV owners, looking at the other makes, checking out a couple of EV conversions, and talking to prospective owners.

    instrument lighting?

Recently I'm noticing that the instruments appear to be dimming themselves in the daytime. Granted, it's overcast and raining here most of the time now, but I don't recall seeing this behaviour before. Is there a setting for this, or is there possibly an issue with the instrument lighting?

CCS charger in Arlington Oregon: offline, campaign

The CCS station in Arlington, Oregon, has been offline since August 2015. Based on comments on PlugShare, this appears to be due to a policy decision by the power company to assess demand charges, rendering the station economically unviable. Per PlugShare comments: ----- Nov 8th 2015 I check...

    Snow

We've had our first snow of the year here in Portland, and of course I had to drive the Spark around to see what it was like. First off, the preheat function is brilliant in these conditions. Seats nice and warm of course, back window completely clear. A few inches of snow on the windshield...
