Alarms and beeps

My Spark ev(280 original miles) alarm went off about 3 hours after I charged it to ~60%. It was parked in my carport with the charge cable disconnected. No one bumped the car. The alarm shut off when I opened the door(I did not have the remote with me.) Also, there are random beeps while my Spark is in my carport and I am working around the house with remote in my pocket.

Is this normal?

Not normal. The typical advice you get here is to unplug the standard battery in the engine compartment for a while (5-10 minutes) then plug it back it. It is said to clear gremlins like this. If that doesn't work, I wonder if your standard battery isn't bad.
