Alarms and beeps

My Spark ev(280 original miles) alarm went off about 3 hours after I charged it to ~60%. It was parked in my carport with the charge cable disconnected. No one bumped the car. The alarm shut off when I opened the door(I did not have the remote with me.) Also, there are random beeps while my Spark is in my carport and I am working around the house with remote in my pocket.

Is this normal?

We used to both drive a Prius, and when DH would be home walking around with both key fobs on his keyring in a pants pocket he would sometimes set off the alarm accidentally. My best guess is that is what happened with your EV.

It's not a normal thing.

Charging interruption in power the cause. Plug might not be tight in connector.

See if it does it with the key OUT of your pocket ?
not sure why you would walk around you house with keys in your pocket. Sounds odd to me but then again I just put mine near the back door with the other keys
