Anyone need a brand new 30AMP Bosch EVSE?

http://www.pluginnow.com/power-max2

I don't need it since I bought a Clipper Creek unit. It's brand new, unopened, in the box. Any interest? I just got it since I had the $500 rebate from my Spark and it seemed silly to waste. Make an offer.

Hey,

I will be building (assembling) my own, but...
I suspect you'd be better off selling it on Ebay or something. Everyone here, most likely has their own or used the same rebate.

you also posted in the wrong section, i think there is another subforum for sales etc.

Yup, I posted it there as well. Just thought I'd post it here in case someone needs a second unit or missed out on the deal for some reason and wants a good deal on a new unit. Apologies if it's in the wrong forum - I couldn't find an appropriate place to put it, but perhaps I didn't look hard enough.

hey, no need to apologize at all :)
I don't think there is a moderator that would be chasing you down for any reason.
I am sure you will find someone that needs a second unit... How about trying a Volt forum? idono

I'm likely leasing a Spark EV w/quick charge this week. I could probably use this?

Yes, if you have the garage and it is relatively easy to put in the circuit from your electric meter box. I bought a Voltec unit right after I bought my Volt, and then it took me over 6 months to get the wiring installed to the garage to actually hook up the unit.

Yes you could use this, but since it's getting close to the retail price on ebay, don't. I believe Bosch is still offering a $500 discount on any EVSE, see http://www.pluginnow.com/discount for details. Some people have griped about lack of quality (mine's just fine, thank you) you just can't beat the price after the discount.

10-4. Thanks for the replies.

Unless you must have the 240V charging on day one you have the vehicle, I'd just wait till you lease the car and then decide/order/buy the EVSE
Due to my "extreme luck", my Bosch order was delayed, so I am still charging from 110V. Not stoked about it, but still works.

Agreed, use the rebate available with the car if possible. I originally posted it here in case someone needed a second unit or couldn't use the rebate for some reason. I was going to give my fellow forum members a good deal if they had a use for it.

After no interest I went ahead and posted on eBay. I actually own a Clipper Creek unit due to the fact that I already had an L6-30 outlet in the garage and they sell one with that type of plug. I've been very happy with it.
