I took a trip to a dealership in Rockville this weekend with the hopes of bringing home a leased 2015. As it turned out, the manager wasn't even interested in talking to us though I heard him tell our sales that if I wasn't a resident of MD, there was no possibility of us purchasing. The salesman, however, seemed like a nice enough guy.

Is this feasible/possible?

Edit: Maybe this applies?

I suspect you are correct as some who have posted here from Pennsylvania had the same problem, even though they are just over the border from Maryland.

What about me in New York state? I already have a Spark EV that I purchased and reside in New York state. However I would love to take advantage of the lease deal and lease one for my wife. There must be some way around it??? What happens if you live in MD, lease the car and then move out of state?
