Does anyone do a short-term lease?

Hey all,

Been considering a Spark EV for a while but I'm not sure about whether I'll actually like it enough to keep it for the whole 36 months. Range and charging times are a concern also.

I'm wondering if anyone has ever come across a short-term lease for one? Maybe like a 12-month lease or even less? I know the price would be higher but if it doesn't fit my needs then I'm only stuck with it for a year.

Not sure where you're located but Hertz is renting Spark EVs in various locations (I know LAX is one of them). That way you can try it out and see if it works for you without having to do a lease.

There is a 24 month lease available but it's standard rates and residuals which means that you would be paying a lot more than the 36 month lease. Also, if you lease for less than 36 months, you miss out on the CA $2500 rebate.
