Alex on Autos did an in-depth review of the 2014 Spark EV along with a separate review of the Spark EV's MyLink Infotainment system:

I'm still amazed at the lack of knowledge by either the reviewers, GM product info or both when it comes to the options per the two different trim levels of the Spark EV (1LT and 2LT) as there are only two differences between them; the 1LT has cloth seats and a plastic steering wheel and the 2LT has leatherette seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel, that's it! Nothing else, both have heated seats, both have the same wheels and tires, both have the same electronic package, etc. It shouldn't be that hard for these people to figure out. Done with rant. :D

Which kind of begs the question, why? Why have two SKUs for such a simple car? Doesn't make keeping the inventory any easier. and the price differential isn't that great. My dealer had the right color in stock but not the proper trim level. So he has to do a swap with another dealer. And the dealers that do have them in stock are not necessarily in range. Dumb. KISS.

We ended up going with the 1LT after the dealer wasn't able to get the 2LT in the right color and got aftermarket leather seats installed for only $400 more than the 2LT would have cost. Very happy with the custom color pattern so far.
