Finally had an opportunity to take a picture of both Sparkies.[/img][/img]

    Making car more visible

I don't know if it's a function of just been a small car or the color, but it seems the drivers sometimes don't see me, or pretend they don't see me. I had the very similar thing happening twice today. As I was changing lanes another driver just squeezed their vehicle right ahead of me. Both...

Consequences of disconnecting the 12V battery

I know that it is really unnecessary, especially in San Diego climate and on 36mo lease, but.... I want to install the little felt rings on the battery terminals and grease them up accordingly. I have always done it on all my cars and I hope it saved me some grief somewhere down the road...

Airflow inside the cabin with fan OFF

I feel that I am driving close to a perfect car, but there's always room for improvement, right. If someone have figured out the way to have fresh air coming through the vents when driving at freeway speeds without using the fan at all, please share. In the car who's range is dependent on the...

    Global warming and Spark EV

I have taken a liberty of extracting these last two posts from "2015 Spark no longer 21-kWh and now 19 ???" I am personally really interested in both topics, just not in the same thread. Please feel free to continue your discussion here.

Has anyone experienced "increase" in projected miles?

Not that I am complaining, It's just seems a little strange to me. I charged my car at about 80% "full" and 252 miles on odometer, got "Battery Range" 92 miles. Thought, cool, more miles to go, but I thought the max is 82, but I'll take it :) Then, next charge similar 20% left to charge...

    Which charger to choose?

Spoke with Bosch rep. today. He is pushing the Power express charger, I suspect for the obvious reason, it's more money. My question is, what is the probable best choice in my situation. I am currently using the stock 110V charger, it's working fine, but you know - it is slow... I am using...

    The actual warranty

I know, nobody reads the manuals, but geeks. So, I am looking at the 2014 Spark EV Limited Warranty booklet. I think that is the only place where our vehicle is mentioned, the rest of the manual is for everything, but. A full 10 pages, between 21 and 31 are dedicated to the Emission Control...

    How is the difrosting handled

I know I am going to get a lot sympathy from the rest of the country, but... My question is, how you defog (in my case) the windshield? I doubt my car will be sitting outside as my current vehicle does. So on the foggy morning, it will probably start fogging up from the inside and precious...

    Anyone got a better deal?

Hi, I am considering leasing the Spark LT1 with DC charging plug. I think I have seeing it referred to as a "Franken-plug" Was wondering if someone was able to get the $199 with $995 down plus tax - beat, if yes by how much and how? :) I also noticed that my local dealer has all bunch of...

Someone please help understanding the ratios

I know one thing, in exact science like math and physics there is no such thing as miracles :) So I am looking at the C&D comparison of EVs http://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/final-scoring-performance-data-and-complete-specs-page-8 Spark has the untouchable by other in comparison torque...

Thinking to lease the Spark or ??

My Saturn wagon is on it's last leg, I think. Or I am just ready for a change and EV sounds very attractive. Went today to a Chevy dealer and drove the Spark EV. I have way too many requirements to be reasonable, but as always compromising helps. Reasons why I am looking at Spark: a...
