Bay Area Lease Deals

Last month, Fremont Chevrolet was offering up the three-year leases at $79/month with a $1,500 drive off (the CA rebate turns that into a net $1,000 in the customer's pocket). Momentum Chevrolet had a $59/month lease offer with $3,000 drive off ($500 customer cash after the CA rebate).

Now, Dublin Chevrolet has a $67/month lease with a $1,500 drive off.

Been monitoring the inventories, and it seems that these three particular Chevy dealers have been moving of the Spark EVs. I recall that the Fremont dealership had over 30 in inventory mid-March, and they don't have any now. The Dublin dealership had more than 10 last week, and they're now down to one.

These deals are nutty! It's like driving a free car, if you factor in the gas savings. And it's like getting paid for the first year, if you also account for the rebates.

There are many in NoCal with great deals them being Fremont, Dublin, and I forget one other (wasn't momentum). In SoCal, it's between Rydell and Community, but the deals are far less attractive than NoCal. Currently, Rydell has 22 SparkEV in stock while community has 27. Rydell has $59/mo + $2890 drive off, so with $2500 CA rebate, that works out to

(59*36 + 2890-2500)/36 = $70/mo

Not as good as NoCal deals.

Doesn't seems a very great deal. As I had similar offer $2500 down with $72/month including all taxes) but it was 2LT with Fast Charger.

Are you sure it's a 2016 model ? Because as per my understanding all 2016 models have Fast Charger by default.

I leased a 2LT with fast charger the other day.

15K miles a year.

Total average after rebates comes out to $102 a month.

No clue if it's a good deal or not.

Sorry, late to post my deal. Novato Chevrolet, $1,300+ out the door, $82/month for 36 months, 10K miles per year. This does not include the $2,500 CA rebate, so my total out-of-pocket for the 36 months of using the car will be about $1,800+. Very please with the deal and the car.

We looked closely at the Smart, MB B250e and the BMW i3. All three were more desirable in their own ways. The MB has more luxury features, specially the memory seats. The i3 is faster, quieter and more feature-rich. The Smart was available in a cabriolet and having owned two ICE Smart cabriolets, we really like the size. A far as utility, the Smart has the shortest range and really slow charging. With all of that, I don't feel at all limited by the Spark EV, and so far it has been a great way to get introduced to EVs.

15K miles a year. Total average after rebates comes out to $102 a month. No clue if it's a good deal or not.

If it's better than factory lease deal, I'd say it's a good deal!

Factory: 10K miles/yr, $0.25/mile extra, $139/mo, $0 down

Factory at 15K miles/yr
(139*36 + 5000*0.25*3 -2500)/36 = 174/mo

I didn't include tax, docs, etc, so factory would be even higher, maybe approaching $190/mo. I'd say you got a good deal!

My first month is free (only 35 payments), so the total lease cost is slightly less. I updated my post (http://www.mychevysparkev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4493). This is probably how it works for the other leases too.

Ron here. LT2, 1st month lease payment included, cannot remember the overage fee (my wife and I both travel in our work, and I cannot imagine coming close to the 30K miles).

Got a 2LT+DCFC+15k/year for 130+tax at momentum Chevrolet at Stevens creek today.

I got a 2LT with CCS ("fully loaded") for $0 out the door on June 4th. The monthly payments are $155/month for 35 months for 15,000 miles/year. I applied for the CVRP rebate before the waitlist started on June 10th, so my effective total cost for the lease is only ($155*35)-$2,500 = $2,925 or $81.25/month!!

I referenced ev-vin.blogspot before getting my deal from Capitol Chevy (DGDG) in San Jose. I highly recommend going to that blog for all EV leases and deals!
