Dear members,
so i found out a nice way to update your infotainment system without having to go to the dealer.
its tricky but possible.
1. in the developer mood, you can access the main files of the system by using the explore mode.
2. there are 4 folders that need to be copied to a USB flash drive:
a. Data b. Nordata c. Storage card d. Storage card2
3. put the 4 folders in a compressed zip file and share it online
4. mention the firmware version for reference and car model.
5. after obtaining the Firmware suitable for your car, all you need is to copy the files into their respective locations and replace all conflicting files.
6. restart your infotainment and enjoy the updated version.
i did this yesterday to my Spark EV 2015 and it works like a charm.
i hope others can participate in making this post as valuable as possible.
Regards
