Can I purchase the vehicle out of state?
Yes, the vehicle can be purchased out of state. However, the vehicle first must be registered as new with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles to be eligible for the rebate program. If the vehicle is bought by a third party in California or Oregon but not registered there, and then bought by a MA resident and registered in MA would that not qualify for the rebate?

You would need the Certificate of Origin in your hand.

I purchase in CA and brought back to Texas and was able to get all qualified rebates
